SEALINE features a handcrafted teak frame, plush cushions and a backrest in a choice of maritime rope or extra-wide DEDON fiber. The luxurious elements are easily combined with other DEDON styles, including Massaud’s award-winning SEAX collection and his iconic SEAYOU deck chairs, for an effortlessly eclectic look.
Inspiration
SEALINE’s design language derives from the world of sailing, where elegance is linked to efficiency. Massaud’s fascination with this world is reflected not just in the choice of materials—handcrafted teak, maritime rope—but in the furniture’s construction as well. “It’s not just an aesthetic choice,” the designer explains, “but an expression of quality and sustainability.”
Designer
Jean-Marie Massaud is well-known for mixing comfort and elegance, zeitgeist and heritage, generosity and distinction, to create timeless design. His numerous collections for DEDON include SLIM LINE, SEAX, TIGMI, DEAN and, most recently, the SEAYOU folding deck chair. In addition to furniture, Massaud’s work includes product and store design as well as one of the world’s most innovative football stadiums.
